🛍  Product Information :

The petals release dark blue pigment when soaked in warm water, so butterfly pea flower is also used as a dye or food coloring. Butterfly pea flower tea and other beverages containing butterfly pea flower will change color when the pH value changes, and will turn purple when lemon juice is added (acidic), and the more you add, the darker the purple color. If the roselle is added, it will turn bright red.

The color of butterfly pea flower tea will change according to the pH of the added substances, such as adding lemon juice will turn the dark blue into purple.

In Thailand and Vietnam, butterfly pea flower tea is usually drunk with honey and lemon after dinner, or served in hotels and spas. In Thai, nam dok anchan is a kind of butterfly pea flower tea. It can be drunk cold or hot, and is often drunk with honey, mint, cinnamon, ginger, passion fruit, etc. It is a local classic drink.

Attendtion:
Matters needing attention: Butterfly pea flower has the effect of "anti-platelet aggregation" and "promoting uterine contraction". It is not recommended for women who are pregnant, women with heavy menstrual flow, who are going to have surgery or who are usually taking anticoagulant drugs.
