I knew Mrs. Lam for almost eight years (about 2014). The first time I met her was with a senior farmer, Mr. Wong Ling. At that time, Mrs. Lam invited a master farmer to manage a farm which is about 8-10 acres. Mr. Wong discussed it. Let's work together to organize farmers to organize green icing on the road, and Mrs. Lam's vegetables will be sold by us. This is how the cooperation begins.

Mrs. Lam is a traditional Hakka, and her Cantonese always has a Hakka accent. She and 80-year-old husband manage the fields together. Mrs. Lam has an easy-going personality and an open mind. She always works until late at night. In order to increase her income, she will work as a hawker in the pavement outside Kam Sheung Road Station in the evening. With the certificate issued to her by the HKORC, she will sell her organic vegetables at the exit of the Kam Sheung Road station to help make up for the living allowance.

In August 2021, the TVB program "Pearl Magazine" interviewed Mei Foo Farm Market. Mrs. Lam is one of the few farmers who is willing to be on camera. Mrs. Lam is very photogenic. With her signature kind smile, and she always likes to hug her crops take pictures for me, and she likes me to send a picture back to her, so that she can enjoy her sweet smile!

In 2015, Mrs. Lam was the representative farmer at the AFCD Food Carnival, showing off the harvest her farm gave her. Every year, Dalong Laboratory and Organic Resource Center will send some new varieties of seedlings to Lin Tai to plant. For example, last year and this year, she planted yellow cauliflower, purple broccoli and purple yellow bud white.

In addition to buying Mrs. Lam's crops at "Healthy Express", there are also retail outlets selling Mrs. Lam's fresh vegetables in Tsuen Wan Market and Wan Chai Market. Mrs. Lam uses the organic resource center's operating standards to plant, giving customers a safe choice, come and buy her delicious vegetables!
