Participants will master the traditional technique of wrapping zongzi — pyramid-shaped glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves — using time-honored hometown recipes.
Miss Vien is a senior Scout leader who has been teaching Scout members about rice dumpling for many years, created a method for making rice dumplings that even children can understand.
Each participant had their own unique method for wrapping the dumplings. They generously shared their traditional wisdom during the meal.
We have experienced instructors providing guidance throughout the workshop; all materials are provided, and participants can take home the rice dumplings they made themselves.
This workshop not only preserves a traditional craft that is on the verge of being lost, but also creates unforgettable memories. Participants can learn to make rice dumplings independently, enhance their understanding of Chinese festival culture, and take home their homemade delicious dumplings to share with family and friends.
